Make our homemade beef jerky for dogs. This is such an easy affordable swap to store-bought jerky. We bought sirloin steak on sale for only $4 which made +60 treats. Our dogs went nuts over them - this has to be their favourite treat we've made this year.

Ingredients

150g of sirloin steak

Directions

Put beef in the freezer for 30 minutes to take moisture out of the beef
Slice beef into thin strips
Spray the bottom of the airfryer with olive oil and spray beef strips with olive oil
Place strips in the airfryer at 220F for 45 minutes
Place beef jerky on a paper towel and pat oil off
Let jerky cool for 5 minutes

Notes:

We used sirolin though any lean low fat content steak works great

Storage:

Store jerky in an air tight container for 3-5 days. Freeze for up to 6 months
