This recipe is great for showing dog parents how to prepare vegetables for dogs. The ingredients have some of the best vegetables for dogs, they have a ton of nutrients and will nourish your pup like no other. It is a great mix of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, fiber and carbs. You have the option to add calcium carbonate or eggshell powder for an extra source of calcium. It is a quick and easy recipe to make, just be sure to let it cool completely before serving.

Ingredients

1 Can or 254g or 8.8 Oz of Chickpeas
1 ¾ Cups or 295g or 10.5 Oz of Hemp Hearts
1 Cup or 170g or 5.65 Oz of Green Peas (Fresh or Frozen)
3 Cups or 300g or 10.5 Oz of Cauliflower
1 Tablespoon or 14g or 0.5 Oz of Safflower Oil
1.5 Teaspoon or 8g or 0.27 Oz of Calcium Carbonate (or Egg Shells)
3 Cups or 720g or 25.4 Oz of Water
2/3 Cups or 85g or 2.97 Oz of Dog Child Essential Nutrient Mix

Directions

Add chickpeas, green peas, cauliflower, calcium carbonate to a food processor, and process until fully incorporated.
In your pan add in the processed mixture, Hemp hearts, and water. Allow to steam for 10 minutes.
Once the water has boiled off, remove from heat and Mix in Dog Child Essential Nutrient Mix and olive oil, mix well.
Let cool and bon appetit!
