Ingredients

870g or 30.7 Oz of Beef, chuck cubes (fresh)
4 cups or 960g or 33.8 Oz of Water
1 Cup or 150g or 5.3 Oz of Barley, pearled/hulled (Uncooked)
1 cup or 200g or 7.1 Oz of Tomatoes, half small can (Canned - diced)
2 Cups or 150g or 5.3 Oz of Broccoli (fresh or frozen)
1 ½ Cups or 150g or 5.3 Oz of Carrots, raw
100g or 3.5 Oz of White Button Mushrooms (about 4 fresh)
4 Tablespoons or 32g or 1.12 Oz of Dog Child Essential Nutrient Mix

Directions

In a pot, cook your add beef chunks, uncooked barley and water for 10 minutes until it comes to a simmer - low heat and cook for 30 minutes
Add in your vegetables and canned tomatoes. Slowly mix and place the lid on.
Let simmer for about 30-45 minutes until the barley is cooked
Remove the lid and let a bit of water cook out for an additional 15 minutes
At this step, pull apart the beef to check if it is tender enough - should easily come off with a fork, if not, keep on heat for 5-10 more minutes until beef is tender
Let cool and shred the beef into small pieces
Add your dog Child Essential Nutrient Mix
Mix thoroughly
Portion out & serve to your pup!
