This twist on a Shepherd's Pie is not difficult to make, and it is a great dog food substitute to give your pup a break from pre-packaged or dehydrated dog food. They will go crazy for the meat filling mixed with the tender potatoes.
Formulated for Adult Maintenance
Makes 2.5 lbs or 1134 grams

Ingredients
272g (2) White Potatoes
454g (1 lbs) Ground Beef
360g (3 Cups) of Water
113g (1 Cup) Green Peas (Fresh or Frozen)
145g (4) Carrots (Include Tops)
57g (2/3 Cups) of Corn Kernel (Fresh or Frozen)

68g (½ Cup + 1 Tbsp) Dog Child Essential Nutrient Mix
23g (½ Tbsp) Olive Oil
Directions
Thoroughly wash potatoes and carrots then finely chop by hand or in a food processor.
Add the ground beef to your pan along with 3 cups of water, the potatoes and carrots.
Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the beef is thoroughly cooked and the potatoes are tender.
Add in corn and peas for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and add in Dog Child Essential Nutrient Mix and olive oil, mix well.
Let cool and bon appetit!
