Apple Oat Doggy Donuts
These apple peanut butter yogurt donuts are the best treat for you and your pup. We made them for national donut day, but that won’t stop us from making them any other day too! Plus, peanut butter and apples are an amazing source of vitamin A, protein, potassium, fiber and antioxidants for your dog.
1 cup of gluten free oats
2 cups of gluten free flour
¾ cup of applesauce
⅔ cup of almond or oat milk
1 Tsp of baking soda
Peanut butter and dairy free yogurt to top
Optional: coconut flakes
Preheat oven to 375.
In a large mixing bowl combine the gluten free oats, apple sauce, almond milk, baking soda and egg and mix together
Pour the mixture into donut molds (we used these cute mini molds we found on amazon)
Place the donut molds into the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the center comes out clean with a toothpick
Remove and place the donuts on a cooling rack for 5 minutes
Top off with peanut butter and dairy free yogurt - serve and enjoy!
