Essential nutrient mix

For a full batch: for every 1 lb of uncooked boneless meat, add 2½ cups (8.6 oz) of vegetables, fruit, and/or optional grains. Cook everything, then mix in 2 tbsp (0.63 oz) of Essential Nutrient Mix.

For a smaller batch: add ½ tbsp (0.175 oz) of Essential Nutrient Mix to every 1 cup (7 oz) of cooked homemade food made with protein, vegetables, fruit, and optional grains.

In general, the nutrient mix should make up about 2.5% of the total recipe by weight. Exact amounts may vary depending on the recipe.
