2 freeze dried chicken hearts (optional but highly nutritious)
Handful of fresh strawberries and raspberries
1/2 of a ripe dragonfruit
1/3 cup goat's milk kefir
1 small pear, cored and chopped
2 freeze dried liver treats (optional)
Handful of fresh spinach
1/2 cucumber, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
A couple of fresh mint leaves
1/3 cup water
Few pieces of dehydrated green tripe (optional)
Blueberry Bliss Bomb
Popping Pink Paradise
Gobsmacking Green Goodness
Directions
Choose one of the smoothie recipes and prepare all the ingredients.
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more water, goat’s milk, or kefir to reach the desired texture.
Pour into a bowl, serve over your dog’s meal, or freeze into ice cube molds for a fun, cooling treat later.
Recipe Note
Tips for Smoothie Success
- Zap together in a blender
- Choose your own freak: use any organ meats just use a small amount at a time when introducing your dog to it. Just use single ingredient dehydrated or freeze dried organ treats
- Fine-tune the Consistency: If the smoothie is too thick or intense, simply add a bit more water until you reach the desired consistency.
- Freeze into ice cube moulds like I did, pour over the top of their feed or just serve plain on its own.
