Seeds have many health benefits for dogs including improving gut health added fibre, omegas and antioxidants. Seeds are a super food. Also these took minutes to prep and crunch into small bit sized pieces depending on the size of your dog. You can also crumble onto your dog's meal.

The Benefits of Seed Crackers for Your Dog
The nutritional prowess of seed crackers cannot be overstated. At their core, these crackers are composed of seeds like flaxmeal, and sunflower seeds, each offering a unique blend of essential nutrients. These seeds are packed with essential fatty acids, pivotal for maintaining a radiant coat and healthy skin. The antioxidants found within help fortify your dog’s immune system, acting as a shield against various diseases. Additionally, the high dietary fiber content in these seeds plays a critical role in promoting optimal digestive health, ensuring your dog maintains a regular and comfortable bowel movement. Beyond the immediate health benefits, the incorporation of chia seeds adds another layer of nutritional value, contributing to overall energy levels and stamina. This makes seed crackers not just a treat but a substantial addition to your dog’s diet, supporting their well-being from the inside out. Unlike many commercial treats, these homemade crackers are free from unnecessary fillers and harmful additives.
Personal Experience and Feedback
For smaller breeds, it's advisable to break the crackers into bite-sized pieces to make it easier for them to chew and to mitigate any potential choking risks. For larger dogs, the crackers can be served as is or broken into slightly larger pieces.
Remember, these seed crackers are intended to be a supplement to your dog's regular diet, offering a healthy and enjoyable treat in between meals. They should not replace meals but rather enhance your dog's dietary regimen with their nutritional benefits. Moderation is key—too much of even a good thing can upset the balance of a well-rounded diet. Keep servings appropriate for your dog's size and dietary needs, ensuring they continue to thrive on their regular meals while enjoying these homemade treats as a special bonus. Also it is recommended to blend the seeds in a food processor to make them more digestible.
