Making this peanut butter banana oatmeal is a breeze, you can whip it up in a matter of minutes! It is one of my go-to homemade dog food recipes. Your dog will go crazy for the flavours while getting a nutritionally complete homemade dog food meal. It is a great healthy dog food recipe for picky eaters. The banana adds sweetness, while the oats, flaxseed and hemp seeds pack a ton of fiber.

Ingredients

6 Cups or 1440g or 50.75 Oz of Water
3 Cups or 240g or 8.5 Oz of Quick Rolled Oats
3 Cups or 335g or 11.8 of Flaxseed Meal
⅓ Cups or 85g or 3.3 Oz of Natural Peanut Butter
½ Cups or 80g or 2.8 Oz of Hemp Hearts

¾ Cups Dog or 96g or 3.36 Oz of Child Essential Nutrient Mix

Directions

Bring water to a boil.
Gradually stir the oats and flaxseed meal into the water mixing together well.
Reduce heat and simmer covered for 3-5 minutes stirring occasionally.
In the meantime mash up your bananas.
Once almost all of the water has been absorbed, carefully stir in the peanut butter, bananas, hemp seeds, Dog Child Essential Nutrient Mix and calcium carbonate or egg shells.
Add in additional water if required.
Mix well to make sure the ingredients are well incorporated.
Let cool and portion out to serve.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for 2-4 days, or freeze them to be defrosted at a later time.
