Dog Child Gravy Topper

We love any excuse to spice up our dogs' dinner time. Adding a gravy to your dog's food is a great way to do this. Whether your dog eats kibble or fresh food, this rich homemade gravy elevates any meal from ordinary to extraordinary.
We love making this gravy because it is so quick to pull together and your dog will appreciate the special treat. Picky eaters love the flavour, and it often helps to get them to eat their whole meal. Gravy adds a ton of minerals and vitamins to your dogs meal, we like to amplify this by adding in our dog child essential nutrient mix. Plus… it is a great way to make sure your pup stays hydrated, especially if you mostly feed kibble.
Make sure that the stock or broth you're using does not contain any onion or onion powder! This is very important to ensure that your pup does not get onion poisoning!

2 Tablespoons Cornstarch or Tapioca Flour
Directions
In a small saucepan, bring 1 1/2 cups of stock to a simmer.
In a small bowl, whisk the cornstarch with the remaining 1/2 cup of cold stock until no lumps appear.
When the stock on the stove comes to a low boil, slowly add in the cornstarch mixture in a slow drizzle, and bring back to a low boil.
